다시 겨울
지난 여름 코로나 바이러스의 여파로 꽤나 타격이 있었지만 어쨌든 열심히 하루하루를 살아오다 드디어 겨울이 찾아온것이 느껴진다.
기온은 이미 뚝 떨어진지 오래지만 11월의 마지막 주를 맞이하면서 뚝떨어진 기온과 스산한 기운이 들며 내리는 겨울 비가 이제 진짜 겨울이 시작되는구나 느낄 수 있게 해주는 하루였다.
서핑 숍의 대부분의 일상은 비슷 할 것이다. 지금 11월 부터 4월 까지는 거의 시즌 오프기간으로 각자 휴식이나 숍 정비를 하며 겨울을 난다. 내가 운영중인 숍은 작은 구멍가게 느낌의 숍이라 특별히 정비랄 건 없지만 어쨌든 이제 잘 사용하지 않는 장비들은 창고로 넣어두고, 외부의 수도는 동팔르 대비해서 잠구고 하는 등의 겨울 준비를 한다.
그리고 겨울 준비가 어느정도 끝나면 2층에 자리한 작업실 정비와 이미 들어와있는 소가구들 주문제작을 재개 할 것이다.
올해는 어떨지 모르겠지만 작년은 겨울 동안 몇건의 꽤 큰 인테리어 의뢰가 있었고, 그것들을 잘 쳐내면서 겨울을 버텨 냈는데 올 해는 과연 그런 일들이 들어올지 안들어올지 예상을 할 수가 없다.
코로나라는 너무 나 큰 변수가 생겨버렸고, 이로인해 극심한 타격을 입은 터라 앞으로 어떻게 이 상황을 대처하고 뚫고나갈지 매일매일이 고민이다.
정부에서는 직장인들을 비롯한 우리같은 소상공인들을 위한 여러가지 대책을 만들고 있지만, 실제로 피부에 와 닿는 긍정적인 결과는 아직 느끼지 못했다. 여러가지 연유로 지연되고 있는 2차 지원금. 남들은 다 받았다는데 나는 왜 아직 안나오고 아직도 심사중이라는지......
3차 지원금도 논의 중이라고는 하는데, 특별히 큰 도움이 될지는 모르겠다. 어쨌든 작은 도움이라도 받을 수 있기는 하면 좋긴 좋은데......
올 해는 유난히 길고 추운 겨울이 될듯하다. 모두들 무거운 마음의 짐이 한가득인데 날씨조차도 올 해 유난히 추울거라고 하니 진짜 진짜 추운 겨울이 될것 같다.
부디 2021년의 새해가 떠오를 때 즈음에는 건강도 우리내 주머니 사정도 제발 나아지길 바란다.
이노무 코로나야 썩 물러가거라!
There was quite a blow in the aftermath of the Corona virus last summer, but after working hard from day to day, I can feel that winter has finally come.
Temperatures have already fallen sharply for a long time, but with the last week of November, it was a day where we could feel that the real winter is now beginning.
Most of the daily lives of surf shops will be similar. From November to April, we spend most of the winter off season, taking a break or doing shop maintenance. The shop I'm running is a small mom-and-pop store-like shop, so it doesn't have to be specially maintained, but anyway, I put the equipment I don't use well in the warehouse, and I prepare for the winter by locking the outside shower booth in preparation for freezing.
After some winter preparation is completed, we will resume the maintenance of the studio on the second floor and order the small furniture already in.
I don't know what this year will be like, but last year there were a few interior requests during the winter, and I can't predict whether such things will come in or not.
Corona has become too much of a variable, and it has been hit hard by it, so I wonder how I will cope with this situation and get through it every day.
The government is working on a number of measures for small business owners like us, including office workers, but it has yet to feel the positive effects that actually touch our skin. secondary grants delayed for various reasons Everyone else said they got it, but why am I still in the process?
The third round of aid is also being discussed, but I'm not sure if it will be of any particular help. Anyway, I wish I could get a little help, but...
This year is likely to be an unusually long and cold winter. Everyone has a lot of heavy burden on their minds, and even the weather is going to be unusually cold this year, so I think it's going to be a really really cold winter.
By the time the new year of 2021 comes up, I hope our health and our pocket situation will improve.
