재규야 뭐하니?

재규가 우리 집에 온지도 벌써 7년째 접어든다.

가평 집에 버려져 오돌오돌 떨고 있을 때 장인어른이 거두어 먹이시다 우리에게 키울 의사를 물어보셨고, 첫눈에 반한 사랑 처럼 재규와의 생활을 시작하기로 결정했다.

사실 재규가 처음 왔을때는 라이언 킹의 심바를 닮았다고 해서 심바라고 불렀는데, 우리가 계획해논 여행을 다녀온 3개월 뒤에 이녀석의 몸에 레오파드 패턴이 생겼고, 그제서야 스노우 뱅갈이라는 종이라는것을 알았다.

그리곤 왠지 심바라는 이름이 입에 붙지 않다가, 재규어 닮았으니 재규 어때? 라는 말 한마디에 본격적으로 재규로 불리게 됐다.

재규는 지금 우리집에서 절대 없어서는 안될 보물같은 존재.

붙임성 좋고, 사람 좋아하고(특히 여자), 조용조용한 성격, 그렇게 막 귀찮게 하지도 않고, 심지어 귀엽고 잘생겼다. 도대체 빠지는 구석이라고는 1도 없는 녀석이다.
