볼락 뽈락? 루어낚시 중에서 최고! Lure fishing, about light game.

낚시를 시작한지는 이제 대충 10년 정도 된것같다. 어릴적 아버지를 따라서 다니던 시절을 제외하고, 내 장비를 가지고 내가 본격적으로 낚시를 시작한 것 말이다.

I think it's been about 10 years since I started to go fishing. Except when I followed my father when I was young, I started fishing in earnest with my equipment.

처음에는 생미끼로 시작했지만 이제는 거의 루어낚시만 하고 있는 중이다. 

It started out as a raw bait, but now it's almost just fishing for lure.

왜 루어만 쓰냐고? 이유는 간단하다. 몇가지 줄 매는 방법만 익히고, 채비와 액션에 대해서 조금만 이해를 하면 가장 간편하게 할 수 있는 낚시이기 때문이다.

why only lure? The reason is simple. Because it is the easiest fishing if you learn how to make knots and understand a little bit about the fishing gears and action.

어쨌든 이런저런 이유로 여러 장르의 낚시를 하고있고, 그중에서도 가장 간편한 라이트 게임 (주 대상어로 볼락, 전갱이 등의 대체로 체구가 작은 물고기를 잡는 가벼운 채비를 사용하는 낚시)을 주로 하고 있는데, 요즘 같이 조금 쌀쌀해 질때면 볼락낚시가 슬슬 시작 된다. 

Anyway, for one reason or another, I'm fishing in various genres, and among them, I usually play the easiest light game (fishing using light teckles to catch mostly small fish such as rockfish and mackerel), and when it gets a little chilly these days, rockfish fishing season is just started.

볼락은 군락을 이루어 돌과 돌 사이 또는 몰 이 잘 자라는 곳, 즉 은신하기 좋은곳에 주로 살고 있어서 이 습성만 이해하면 의외로 쉽게 마릿수 조과를 올릴 수 있다. 더군다나 소형어종으로 그리 크지는 않지만 특유의 손맛을 느낄 수 있으며 탁월한 맛과 식감으로 낚시꾼들 최고의 대상어로 항상 인기가 좋다.

Volak(rock cod, rockfish) is a colony that lives between stones and stones or in a place where the seaweeds grows well, which is a good place to hide, so if you understand this habit, you will be able to easily catch them. Furthermore, it is small fish species, but they are always popular as the best target of anglers for their excellent taste and texture.

나 또한 그 매력에 반해 볼락 낚시는 진심으로 열심히 하는편이다.

I also like fishing because I'm really into its charms.

볼락은 외항에서는 사이즈가 조금 큰 녀석들을 만날 수 있고, 내항에서 또한 꽤 괜찮은 사이즈를 만날 수 있는데, 워낙 작은 녀석들이다 보니 보통 15~20cm 정도가 주종을 이루고, 15cm 이하는 포획 금지 체장이다. 난 적어도 20cm는 넘어야 가지고 가는데, 30cm 가 넘는 녀석은 지금까지 한번 정도 밖에 없다. 언젠가 읽은 글에 의하면 볼락이 그정도 까지 클려면 10년 이상 바다에 살아야 한다고 한다.

Volak can be found in the outer harbor, and in the inner harbor, it can be found in a pretty good size, and because they are so small, it usually takes about 15 to 20 centimeters, and less than 15 centimeters is a no-capturing chain. I have to take at least 20 centimeters to go, and there's only one over 30 centimeters so far. According to an article I once read, over 30cm's Volak must live for more than 10 years to grow to that extent. 

 

잡아온 볼락은 신선도가 좋다면 당연히 회가 최고의 조리법 이지만, 개인적으로는 튀김을 좋아한다.

Raw fish is of course the best recipe for Volak if it is fresh, but personally, I like fried.

튀김은 뭘 튀겨도 다 맛있겠지만, 특히나 볼락을 뼈째로 튀겨서 먹으면, 그 어떤 생선구이보다 고소한 맛을 낸다.

그러고보니 오늘 글 도 볼락 튀김을 먹고싶다 먹고싶다 하면서 쓰게 되었다.

Fried food will taste good whatever you fry, but especially when you fry it in the bone, it tastes savory than any other grilled fish.

Come to think of it, I wrote this article thinking that I want to eat it.

 

어쨌든 볼락 시즌은 시작 되었고, 앞으로 볼락 낚시에 관한 글을 종종 쓸거 같다.

Anyway, the Volak season has begun, and I think I will write often about Volak fishing in the future.
